International students (full-time degree-seeking at HSKL), who are about to finish their studies within the next 9 months or earlier, can apply for the DAAD's STIBET I scholarship programme. Deadline for sending in all documents is September 1, 2026, 12.00 h (noon).

To apply send in all required documents (pdf high-quality Scan) to io(at)hs-kl(dot)de:

- completed application form, the current transcript incl. grade points average together with the matriculation for the scholarship period (Winter Semester 2026/27), summarized in one pdf-file, other file formats or single documents can not be accepted.

- completed assessment form (this needs to be mailed directly by a professor)

The International Office will award several scholarships in 2026 with funds from the Scholarship Foundation Rhineland-Palatinate. The scholarships thereof are awarded to:

- good to very good outgoings who want to spend a semester abroad (study or internship) at a university, partner university or in a company or students who want to take a course at a summer school/specialized course at a University abroad.

- good to very good foreign students as support during the bachelor/master thesis (1200 €, registration of the thesis must be sent in copy to the IO).
