The department International Relations and Languages supports you in learning German. Individually or as a part of a group, online or in the classroom: This is the right place for you.

Our offer services are open for all international students and (guest) employees of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences who want to improve their German language skills.

Preparatory German courses (e.g. DSH) and official exams (e.g. TestDaF) are currently not offered.

Programme for summer semester 2026/2027

A2 German Intensive Training online

Date: 21/09 – 25/09/26 (no class on Friday)

Time: 3.15 pm – 6.30 pm

Location: online via BigBlueButton

REGISTRATION until 15th September via OpenOLAT

You want to:

Understand the basics of German grammar
Improve your German intensively and quickly
Learn important vocabulary about relevant topics
Attend an interactive and modern German class

1. Perfect
2. Simple Past of sein, haben and Modal Verbs
3. Imperative
4. Dative- and Accusative Object
5. Subordinate clauses with weil, dass, ob, wenn, W-question words

B1 German Intensive Training (online)

Time: 12:30 pm – 3:45 pm

Registration: until 7. September via OpenOLAT

Practise your speaking skills with situations of your everyday-life
Extend your vocabulary
Attend an interactive and modern German class

Self-study German - Your online course
