University Infrastructure for Pregnant and Nursing Employees and Parents
Balancing Family and Work is not always easy. To best meet the needs of our pregnant and nursing employees, as well as parents, the University of Kaiserslautern provides appropriate infrastructure at all three of its campuses.
According to §10 of the Maternity Protection Act, the university is obligated to identify any hazards to which a pregnant or nursing employee or her child is or may be exposed. Based on this risk assesment, the university determines whether and to what extent protective measures must be implemented.
