Second degree
A “Zweitstudium”, or second degree, is when you have already completed a first university degree and hope to achieve another one (e.g. a Bachelor’s).
In Rhineland-Palatinate, tuition fees for a second degree amount to €700 per semester.

Professional/Vocational Qualifications
Under certain conditions, the state of Rhineland-Palatinate allows for admission to a Fachhochschule without a relevant completed school education.
If you have successfully completed a professional or vocational qualification (i.e. with average final grades of a minimum of 2.5 in the German grading system)&
