License conditions

Perinorm, DIN standards and VDI regulations

Please note the following information on the use of DIN standards: The German Institute for Standardization (DIN e. V.) grants the issuing bodies and their authorized users* a non-exclusive right to use the electronic collection of standards.

Authorized users are initially university members, i.e. staff and students of the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern as well as lecturers and guest lecturers (for the duration of their assignment or stay). These are called "university users" in the following. Guests of the library who use an internal university IP address are also authorized to use the standards on the library facilities.

- Authorized users are permitted to conduct research for themselves and to display the researched data on the available screens.

- Authorized users are allowed to print out and/or save on a memory stick the data obtained in the process of their own research, exclusively for their own scientific use.

- Visitors are only allowed to view the standards; for licensing reasons, they are not permitted to copy them.

Passing on the data in whole or in part - whether on an electronic data carrier, by remote data transmission or as paper copies - which is not covered by German copyright law, as well as granting third parties access to the stored data and the commercial dissemination of information are not permitted.
